This research shows that a strength training program for breast cancer survivors can be successfully delivered in a community setting, just as effectively and safely as in a clinical trial. However, strategies to overcome barriers to implementation are needed for wider adoption. This program can serve as a model for future larger-scale efforts to disseminate and implement strength training programs for breast cancer survivors.
