Social determinants such as poverty, lack of education, and limited access to resources can significantly hinder caregivers' ability to prioritize their children's school readiness. These factors can prevent families from providing their children with the necessary tools and experiences to succeed in school. However, by fostering collaborations between academic institutions and communities, we can identify and implement solutions that address these challenges and improve children's chances of school success.
