Cores Day 2024: A Closer Look at CEAR Core
Cores Day is an annual event showcasing the biomedical research resources and services offered by the University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman School of Medicine and Penn Vet, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and The Wistar Institute. Held on September 25, 2024, this event allowed students, faculty, and staff to learn about different research core facilities through informational tables staffed by core personnel.
Community Engagement and Research (CEAR) Core staff members Emma Adelia Soliva (left) and Krista Scheffey (right) provided a comprehensive overview of the CEAR Core to interested attendees and conducted a survey to elicit feedback regarding potential program offerings that would be most beneficial to the Penn, CHOP, and other academic communities. Information from the CEAR Cores Day survey will be used to plan future CEAR Core programming.
